Ann Bullock, MD
Medical Director: Oversees the medical components of HMD programs
and has direct responsibility for the Cherokee Diabetes Program,
Cherokee Choices, the Wound Care Treatment and Prevention Program,
the Cherokee Women’s Wellness Center, and the Qualla Youth
Health Center.
Education and Experience: B.A. from Brown University, M.D. from
the University of Washington, and Family Medicine Residency
at the University of Minnesota. Board Certified in Family Medicine.
Special interests in diabetes, the effects of stress and trauma
on health, and colposcopy. Member of the Cherokee Indian Hospital
medical staff since 1990. Serves as an Advisor to the IHS National
Diabetes Program.
Other: Enrolled member of the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe. Enjoys
hiking, gardening, travel, movies, pets and living in the mountains.
